In some instances, the accounts are updated in real-time, which is a service that we offer to our billers.

Convenience Fee

SurePay has provided the service from inception without any charge. In order to maintain the service and make further improvements it has become necessary to apply the Convenience Fee.

Most Bill Payment options are already charging an additional fee.

$3 is the absolute minimum charge that can be applied in order to maintain the service.

As a registered business SurePay is obligated by the laws of Trinidad and Tobago to charge VAT on any service it provides.

The introduction of this fee promises continued service excellence, expansion of payment locations and service upgrades.

This is possible but the customer must advise the Teller of this immediately upon approaching the booth.

The customer must advise how much money should be paid toward the bill e.g. a customer with $100 should advise the Teller that $97 should be paid toward the bill.  The customer would then pay the $100 which would include the $3 fee and $97 would be entered in SurePay and paid to the Biller.

The same process as above can be applied. The $3 fee must be paid.

The same process as above can be applied. The $3 fee must be paid.

Customers should return to the Collection Point to enquire.

Customers can also visit the SurePay website at https://surepaybills.com/home-trinidad/  or send an email to surepaysupport.tt@pbs.group

The Convenience Fee will appear on the SurePay receipt along with the details of the payment.

Customers should always check the receipt before leaving the SurePay booth. No visible convenience fee means that the specific Biller has absorbed that fee on your behalf.

The convenience fee will have been absorbed for those billers you are paying to.

If a reversal is required from May 1st onwards, the convenience fee is now payable on that Bill.
